Early Childhood Program
The Early Childhood Program (ECP) at Florida International University (FIU)
provides undergraduate and graduate students with instruction,
teaching experience, and research training in the fields of Early
Childhood Education and Early Childhood Development. With
numerous local and national grants and support from the community,
faculty and students engage in timely and important research
that directly impacts the diverse, urban, and
metropolitan population of Miami-Dade County.
The unique setting of Miami-Dade also provides students and faculty
with abundant resources for the study of bilingualism or bilingual
education, diversity in schools, at-risk populations, inner city
education, health and wellness, and immigration on education, to name
a few broad areas.
